I have lost the process of writing this journal entry twice when I've gotten most of it written, this is pretty ridiculous! I'll just summarize things from what I remember.

June has been a slow and relatively unproductive month in terms of art, I've been experimenting mostly with style, inks, and 2D animation on my own but hardly any polished pieces. At least I got sleep and relaxation in. I've lost my machine-like work ethic for comics as lieu of spending alot of my time playing with my brother and my puppy, whom both require alot of attention from me. It's surprising how much two factors can play in disruptive interference to break your concentration from focusing on comics and artwork.

All I plan to finish this month in July is this comic fight with Spaceninja.

It has been postponed since March and I am working on the 3rd (and goddamned final) rendition of it (meaning I've already started over twice.) I promised myself not to accept any more battle deadlines that are 2 weeks and over, because working on long battles give me neurotic aneurysms and I simply am incompetent with them. I hope to be battling more frequently in VOID with the shorter deadlines, even if it does somewhat limit my choice of opponents.

There have also been complications in traveling overseas to China, so I may not go for the job until later this summer. My SAT testing scores came in. It turns out I got 2100 with percentiles that are all above 90% for each section. I can get into Ivy League schools like Harvard with such a score, but my GPA and extra-curriculum involvement record blows too much ass so forget about that. gahahahahah.

It also turns out I cannot make it to San Diego Comic Con. It's highly disappointing because I was looking forward to meeting ~galvo (who had encouraged me to come and prepare myself works to show big timers) and ~JongBom (and any other attending VOIDers of the area) in person. I'll have to try again next year. There's also still the possibility of Wizard World Chicago to see VOID folk in person.

That's all I can think about as far as updates on life. Maybe I'll post some deviations soon if i ever finish anything.

As a final testament to my dying subscription, which should expire very soon- Thanks again *Jaxomatik for spending your money on me! I didn't utilize it as much as I would have liked because some of the features didn't work very well, but browsing on dA has been easier when I had it, and some of the other personalization features were pretty cool.

" Twenty-three, young and enjoying life as it comes."

3. What's your favourite food?

" I have a tendency to prefer any sort of fast food, junk food, or sugary food. They say it isn't healthy for you with all the fat n' calories, but the amount of exercise and working out I do tends to burn all of it off, so it's no big deal since I require so much energy. A substantial meal is totally fine too, because i'm not really picky."

"Coffee, Energy Drinks, and Soda, yeah! "

" I love everyone, I can't single out one person."

" People would think blue is my favorite colour especially considering how my usual attire consists of pretty much blue. It's white though."

"There's alot of great books out there. I don't read much nowadays unless it's the news or informational reading, so I don't think I can pick a fave. "

"I'm not really scared of many things, 'cept."

"Nope."

" Lieutenant Rochester and Colonel Henriksen."

"Others might portray me as a sort of antagonist in their eyes for some ludicrous reason. I don't personally have any adversaries or people whom I'm ill-tempered towards. Even the street-shark, Pothole, who tried to eat me once, turned into a friend. "

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?

"Got together? Like as buddies hanging out and getting each other drunk? Well, that's not really an area of concern since I have no foes."

14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?

"Creator as in God? I'm not religious or particularly spiritual. Unless you meant parents- But you indicate creator in singular form, so that's not it either. "

15. Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?

" Technically I'm already grown up. But no, I actually did not want to be a barber. I wanted to be a surgeon or physician growing up, but stuff happened that prevented me from eventually pursuing that."

16. What's your worst nightmare?

"I don't prefer to think of situations in negative consequences."

17. What's your lifelong dream?

"It would have been cool to achieve the now-dead goal of becoming a surgeon, but on second thought, it's very hard to retain an optimistic demeanor if you have that career - Theres too much responsibility to uphold, and lives to constantly put yourself at the risk of saving or letting die. My only dream is to live a decent life."

18. What would you do if your lifelong dream came true?

"Well.. I'd die happy, right? If you meant my dead goal, then I suppose I'd be pretty hard at work."

" My own apartment space, the mall arcade or foodcourt, rooftops, abandoned construction sites, strolling through the park or the industrial junkyard with friends. Beaches are nice too."

"Evading Ben. Well not really, she's cool. I take photos in my spare time, play videogames, hang with buds, but otherwise, I suppose I socialize through my occupation as a barber, study new trends, get to know the people of the city- and I parkour alot. "

Looks like I got myself a job at my Aunt's and Uncle's back in China. They work together at this design firm where they remodel parts of houses- and what I'd have to do involves drawing interior architectural layout designs for them because apparently my Aunt has been complaining that my Uncle is too slow with drawing. A leaving date for me seems to be the day after I take the SAT test (June 8th to be exact). I probably won't be back in the United States until around the end of the month, or beginning of July. Holy shitonastick.

I only hope I'd be able to work on my enterVOID fight over there while balancing work, since it's been re-scheduled for the 10th but I won't be able to discern until I get a grasp of how much time I have to spend doing the workstuff.

Otherwise, I'll have to figure out a way to get it done ahead of time while balancing out all these goddamned final exams for school.. hmm!

Oh yeah and i have a new puppy.

Everytime I get SOME TIME to work on SOMETHING that I have to, I lose the motivation. Or I want to do so many things at once that I end up finishing nothing at all. (well, I tried to draw, then render some things, then animate something, but none of those ever got finished because I couldn't follow through with them.) Then I decided I wanted to play music because my art wasn't coming out as anything, but it was too late to play and people in the household would yell at me for noisemaking. MAN I want to live alone.

I will blame this on a tired and highly expectant mind, because I am normally pretty single-track and not so much scatter-brained, and recently I had reflected upon the fact that I failed to achieve the new years resolutions I made in the start of 08 (not 09. SEE LOOK HOW PATHETIC THAT IS!), and that never really helped. EVERYTHING WILL BE BETTER TOMORROW.

(instead, have a somewhat old animation I did in July of 08 that I dug up in my imageshack album, and an OLDER animation I did when I was 12 or 13 (i forget which age exactly) I'm still trying to dust off the rusty animation skills. )
